In New Jersey

  • National Alliance on Mental Illness of New Jersey (NAMI NJ)

    NAMI New Jersey provides education, support, and systems advocacy to empower families and persons with mental illness.  Affiliate self-help and grassroots advocacy groups located in each county offer emotional support and information about treatment and community resources.

    The New Jersey Department of Children and Families is dedicated to ensuring the safety, well-being, and success of children, youth, families, and communities.
  • Family Support Organizations of NJ

    Family Support Organizations (FSO’s) are family-run, county-based organizations that provide direct family-to-family peer support, education, advocacy and other services to family members of children with emotional and behavioral problems.   • Minding Your Mind (MYM) (Philadelphia area)
    mindingyourmind.org

    Minding Your Mind’s (MYM) primary objective is to provide mental health education to adolescents, teens and young adults, their parents, teachers and school administrators. Our goal is to reduce the stigma and destructive behaviors often associated with mental health issues and illnesses.
